Pretty sure I don't know what I'm doing on here but bear with me as I figure it out!
Been encouraged by some friends to write a book. Thought I'd try blogging first - seemed less daunting. But suddenly I'm feeling...daunted!
** A little self-promo here - if you like some of the items you see on this blog (such as chore charts, Homework boards, etc), just click on the photo and it should take you to my "Fan Page" on Facebook. I make/sell a lot of items you will see here.

A little about me:
To know me is to know my boys, cuz they pretty much rock my world.
I LOVE them. Like love, love, love them.
I'm trying hard to teach them to be the kind of man every woman wants to marry.
You know, little Edwards for all the sweet Bellas out there...
or something like that.
or something like that.
My oldest - T (age 7) - my little stud athlete. Studious and serious, competitive and a rule-follower. Typical first-born. And yet, always has time for a craft with his craft-loving Mama or a good book, or to diligently build Legos by the book.
To the "T" (so to speak).
Quite the little renaissance man, eh?
I, for one, am smitten. :)
And then there's my youngest, B.
Made a dramatic entrance into this world and it hasn't gotten any less dramatic since!
And we love that about him.
B (age 5) - Goofy and lovable, impatient and snuggly.
Athlete? Maybe, maybe not ...

I think he's mostly in it for the Gatorade.
But he does love him some hero costumes and acting in his Theater class. (Did I mention dramatic?)
And yes, he's already slightly 'famous' - at least in our eyes. He's in this book (cuz of his red hair):
His photo was taken and submitted to the author by our photographer friend, Melissa Surprise of Surprise Photography, in the Hudson Valley area (NY).

I swear this book was written about me and my boys. Thank you, Mama G, for this gift a few years back. Still a house favorite!
Other things about me:
We relocate. A lot. It's a running joke in our Christmas letter (that I don't think is all that funny, really...) that people need to get out their erasers again to jot down another new address.
Our trail includes:
Atlanta, GA - Virginia Highlands and Pappasito's. *sigh*
Then to Enschede, The Netherlands - where we biked everywhere!
To Pensacola, FL and the most beautiful pristine, beaches with the softest, whitest sand...
Then to Pleasant Valley, NY where we experienced the most brilliantly-colored Hudson Valley Falls.
And then to beautiful Boca Raton, FL where my kids enjoyed the amazing parks and year-round weather.
And most recently to Oklahoma City, OK.
Yes, where the winds go sweeping down the plains (it really does!)
We've been here a year and have already experienced:
tornadoes,
earthquakes,
wild fires,
a record-hot summer,
an occasional black widow spider
and a scorpion...
But everyone here is so NICE, so it's all good!

So, yeah, you could say we get around. Not quite permanent just yet, but hopefully soon!

I love softball. As in, I'm addicted and play as often as I can
(sometimes up to 4 nights/week in the summer).
Thank you, Kev-Daddy, for not complaining too much about that!
He counters my softball season with his wrestling season. All's fair in love...

(Don't I look so tough?)

I love Holidays. ALL of them! It's so much fun finding new ways to celebrate them.
(Thank you Pinterest for feeding into this!)
I love the big holidays, of course, but it's the lesser-known ones that are just as much fun.

Like April Fools' Day, for example!
(This is fake spilled hot chocolate...it took 3 days to make/dry, but so worth it!)
And these are my very worried sweet boys when they discovered the "hot chocolate" -
on Mommy's new couch!

APRIL FOOLS!
(Oh, paybacks will happen, I'm quite sure of it...)

I also love Pinterest. I find myself adding project after project to my 'to do' list after just a few minutes (ok, hours...but who's counting?) of getting cyber-lost there. Much of what I will likely post on here will be projects/ideas originated from Pinterest. (I'll do my best to site the original source!)

I also love organizing. And labeling. And I love me a good Sharpie.
